How to use Achocha

Has anyone recipes or ideas on how to use Achocha, Korilla, Lady's Slipper, Cyclanthera pedata ... oh - yes, it has so many more names than that :)

It is a slow starter, but when it first get started, it is a heavy cropper.

Hi Potager,

I notice no ever responded to your post. Did you ever find any recipes? You could try a google search with terms such as:

recipe + Achoccha
recipe + Achokcha

and so on.

Hi Newt

Yes, achocha can be spelled many different ways, and so can all the other names. I did find a few different uses for achocha. A general thing seem to be that the pods are best when they are picked small (I certainly agree to that).

Glad you found some recipes and thanks for the tip about the size.
