Pelletized dolomite lime garden/lawn

I noticed the box stores label the pelletized for lawns & crushed powder for garden.
I would think that they figure u would use a broadcast spreader on the lawn and a drop
In the garden.

I don' t know why u can't use the pelletized labeled for lawns in the vegetable garden if
U preferred with a broadcast spreader.

I guess I am asking pelletized dolomitic lime is basically the same as the crushed just pelletized for ease, & . So would u spend say $5-6 for a 6-8 lb bag & I need 50lbs based on my soil analysis
Or just buy the 40lb bag for $5-6 & I am going to till it in the soil now & let it sit over the winter.

As I understand it, dolomite has 11% magnesium and 25% calcium. Do you need the magnesium? Is the small bag also dolomitic or is it the plain lime (calcium only) or hydrated lime (might not be approved as organic)?
That's a huge swing in price for the same item, just in pellet form.
