Self Pollinating Corn - How Long Until Watering?

I have just self pollinated my corn. How long do I have to wait till I can water my garden? I don't want the pollen to wash off the silks.

The pollen attaches to the silk within minutes or hours so sprinkle irrigating the next day is fine.
