I need to get away from bush beans...

I need ideas for a lightweight, easily moveable trellis. While I love how the bush beans I grow taste and produce, it is just HARD on my back to get 100' of them picked. I'd like something very tall and maybe slanted so that I could maybe harvest from beneath!
What are you using as a trellis?

I'd also like some suggestions on cultivars. I like unusual, but my family doesn't like anything "too weird" (They won't even try the darker black tomatoes or speckled lettuce, or anything that looks abnormal from the supermarket blah.....I know, I know...I say, MORE FOR ME! :() ).

What is your favorite flavor?

What is your best producer? I like to preserve! 8)

We like flat Italian style or round. Keep in mind I like them ALL! Also, if the color leaves when cooked, that'd be cool, too! They'll never know they're eating something different!!!

Green Bean is my favorite flavor :-)
Fortex and Emerite are my best producers and stay tender even as they get 8 or 10 inches long.

I like Kentucky wonder but it gets rust so I grow a local bean called Poamoho which has rust and nematode resistence. It is a flat bean and very prolific. I like flat beans better than round beans.

Are they stringless?

I've been thinking about some of the yard longs, too! Pole beans open a lot of possibilities!

yardlongs are good, but if you're looking for something that tastes like a green bean, they're probably not it. 'cause they're actually cowpeas. (if you're you're into eating green cowpeas, then maybe).

I'm a fan of flat beans, too. have had a lot of good luck with the variety 'Northeaster' from johnny's (even when growing in non-northeastern locations). big sweet juicy pods. so good I hardly ever want to cook them. and each pods is maybe 3x the size of a normal round bean, by volume....pretty much stringless, too. better flavor than many of the modern round beans.
