Lets talk about runner beans . growing them & cooking them!

I was surprised to see 6 different runner beans on the vermont bean web site below
How do you like them compared to other beans? They have nice flowers to use as climbers also! I grew two varieties this past year and have a 100 or more seeds! Are there more varieties that you know of?

I always thought of runner beans as ornamental. I did not know you could eat them. I looked them up and found out they are perennials. I will be watching this post to learn more. Thanks Bobberaman.

I did not realize it was perennial either Check tis out very interesting about eating the whole plant!

Click on this link and see 6 different climbing beans that allow you to eat every part of the plant! Its a perennial and will come back the next year! These are fantastic beans and have very nice flowers for a trellis!
