Sunflower bugs?
Tiny bugs have burrowed into my sunflower leaves. It looks like they get between the layers of the leaf itself and then eat the insides. What the heck are they and how do I protect against them?

Well, a short term solution is to use a weekly spraing of Neem Oil (no more than once a week.)
But, along with this, plant other flowers around such as Baby Blue Eyes, Cosmos, Marigolds, Goldenrod and so on to attract beneficial insects that will eat insect pests.
Also search out the beneficial insect thread and give that a read.
