Very nice James.

Basically no rain here for the past 3 weeks. June we had a total .83, last year June a total 2.60 inches. Looks like the dry spell will last at least another week. June thru Sept are the dry months.

We've had constant rain for the past two weeks or longer. Most of the tomato plants are looking very rough and will likely be dead in a week or two. The youngest replacement plants still look healthy, so hopefully we will be able to keep a steady stream coming in until frost. The rain has caused a good bit of crop loss as well, as many of the tomatoes are splitting and rotting on the vine. The chickens are pleased with that, as they really like those juicy tomatoes that don't make the cut for our meals!

It's true. I have rarely seen the full "bow" of the rainbow. Thank you for sharing the beautiful photo :D

We were all excitd just to see just these on a drive home. It was unusual in that it was visible all th way home during the 1.5 hr drive. Lucky coincidence of the way the weather system was moving, the setting sun, and the route we were taking.

I was wishing for a little wider lens so I could get the whole thing in the picture. That is as wide as the lens I have would go. It was a grand full double bow.

Next time swing to the right and take another picture of the other side, too.

It might not be the same, but there are stitching apps that can join the two together.

This hardly compares, but I used AutoStitch to join 6 best focused photos for this picture, which looks better than a photo of the same area taken in a single frame with the cellphone camera:

Two frames of much better quality photos will stitch together much better, I'm sure.
