Pepper Fertilization?

Hello all.

I noticed my peppers were starting to look kind of ragged and attributed to the temperature swings that were happening here in VA. Now, it's really warming up and their leaves are falling off. Is this normal? Should I add some sort of fertilizer? I've read that epsom salt is good to use as a spray.

Here's what they look like.

Without knowing what your soil is and whether you have added any fertilizer at all, it is hard to make any recommendation.

Pepper leaves are typically a dark green color.

Some fertilizer would be OK if you have not added any. Get something with all three, NPK, in it. Apply as per the directions.
