Re: Alberta Urban Garden Video Blog

Good Morning Helpful Gardener Family. As with every year the gardening season is coming to an end. but as always here is my final garden tour! Although it only took a 0.4s transition the last sceen took a few hours to get done. My Son who is 5 months old I guess wanted to be out there when I ripped the plants down. So I had him in one arm and did the work with the other. It took a lot longer then I had thought lol

I hope you enjoy!

It has been a few weeks since I had a garden related video to post ;) we have received a few frosts and the season is over. I experimented with this over the last few years and I am committed ! I had poor garden soul to start but now I am building it myself !

In this episode I do a little trench composting to set up a nice healthy garden soil :)

Well outside is done for the year! So I set up my indoor garden! The first bit of that is setting up my grow lights. The whole setup cost 100$ and took not too long to set up. I have tomatoes and peppers started down there !!

In this episode I mix up my own indoor soil. I think this mix will do well in my basement that has ZERO humidity and the types of plants I am trying. When these plants go outside they will be potted in a bit heavier soil and mulched on top to help keep them down ;)

let me know what you think and any suggestions would be great!

I have been using potato bags for a few years now and have finally started to figure out what works for me. After having my potatoes in the main beds the first year they took over! so I moved them out :D

Id love to know what you think or alternate ways to grow potatoes!

If you haven't figured it out, the little green fruit is a potato berry. Maybe I didn't need to send you TPS. True Potato seed

Looks like your package has left washingtion.
