Pennington Smart Feed for vegetables

hello again all, 2 questions for someone with a lot more knowledge than me at vegetable gardening..

- I bought a PH and moistness reader.. I understand the moistness, but the PH I cant figure out how to read and understand what is good and not.. see pic below

- I purchased the "pennington smart feed" with tablets.. I think I'm suppose to use it once a week, my garden is only about 100 square feet, thats about a 1/3 tablet for my garden per week.. is this a good product to use, and will it help with the assumed low nitrogen issue (per previous post), if it actually is low nitrogen.. see pic below

thanks again!

the pH scale appears to be the bottom row of blips - labeled 8.0 to 3.5

the pH scale ranges from 0 to 16 with 7 being "neutral"

numbers lower that 7 represent an acid condition
numbers above 7 represent an alkaline condition

most veggies prefer the 5.x - 7 range - I.e. slighlty acid
there are exceptions

aside from that, I've never met any of the soil probe devices that were adequate to their marketing hype, fwiw.
