Woo Hoo! Snow's off.

Today the snow all left my garden plot. It is very soggy wet, but at least I can see it.

So you've got about 10 days or more of drying out before you can work it with your equipment? I know you've got your toys to work the garden. I've seen the pics.

I sure wouldn't want to broadfork that plot you garden in.

It will depend on what the weather does I suppose. I don't usually get to planting before the first of April. The plot was thoroughly worked in the fall. All I will do for the early stuff is go plant. Along about the first of May when it is time here to plant the warm weather crops, I will run the Troybilt tiller over what is not planted (at a very shallow setting) to remove the weeds then plant. I don't like to spring till deep as you lose too much moisture and the irrigation won't be in until early June.

Congatulations! Guess my extra 800 feet elevation is showing the difference now. I still have 6 to 8 inches of snow on by my garden. It's warming up though so it will soon be clear.
