Asparagus

I have some asparagus that I started about 3 years ago. So now I want to plant plant them in the ground. When is the best time to do that. I am in zone 6. We could have another 2 months of cold weather, or at least the risk of freezing.

You can plant it any time your ground is dry enough to get on and not frozen. Plant it so the tip of the crown is going to be six inches below finished grade. If there is any green growth on it at planting time, clip it all off.
