Strawberries have to be one of the most productive and quickest spreading small fruits/vegetables out there.
I planted 15 plants this spring, 5 of 3 different varieties, as companion plants to some asparagus beds. It's amazing how fast these guys spread if fertilized, and watered well all summer. These 15 'momma plants' I set in the spring have easily produced over 500 rooted offspring. Most of the photos are of 1 original plant, but some have 2 plants.
Spring is going to be SWEET, as well as stinky
