Something I will NOT grow again

Burbies bush cucumber.
I thought this would be the answer to my small garden space and too manyh plants. But the bush cucumber was a bust. I think I got 3 cucumbers and normally I would get over loaded with cucumbers I have always planted a salag bar slicer varity and did well. The plant did not take up much room so that was a plus.
I evern planted two different plants at different times and niether one implressed me.

I have found that trellising the cukes and growing them up have been a great answer to a small garden. Even now that I have more space I still trellis them and grow them straight up. They take some training but they don't crawl 6' or so out into the rest of the garden. they are also easier to harvest and look better.
