Sweet Potato

My vines look really good, I hope there are some nice taters tubing under the earth.

Same here. I planted some in the no-dig bed and some in large containers. We'll see.

I'm hoping for better then what I got from my regular potatoes in the no-dig bed. That was a total bust. I think that method may be better suited to drier climates. A lot of mine rotted partially in the ground and/or got tunneled into by ants. No more No-Dig for me.

my vines are growing like crazy, but I poked my finger in the ground a couple weeks ago and didn't feel any potatoes, not even tiny ones. I guess I'll check it out again tonight. is it possible to grow just vines? I hope all the space they are taking up isn't all for naught. I grew slips from a regular store bought sweet potato, and planted them when they were about 6 inches tall.
