Zuchini ?
Is a 5 gal bucket big enough to grow a zuchini in?

Pretty small IMO, but a 5 gal self watering pot may be adequate. If you google dwarf zucchini or patio zucchini, you will find varieties listed that are suitable for growing in containers. I think that even with the small vine varieties 5 gallon would be minimal and would present a challenge. The main problem in a conventional 5 gallon pot would be in providing a consistent supply of moisture. I've found that if you bury a few inches of the pot in the ground that water doesn't run through the pot so fast and roots can also migrate from the pot and into the ground.
