What vegetables need water the most in drout!

It seems to me that the shallow root crops are the most effected! Lettuce really gets hit hard. I would say maybe corn and tomatoes may survive the longest! Vine crops are dying every day for me! I can't water some of my plants very much! The mulch around some of the plants seems to help!

I wish you the best! Dry dosnt sceem to bother corn to much most of the fields by me are chest high. I have been watering every day or atleast every other. It has been dryer then a popcorn fart here all spring. I dug holes yesterday 4' deep with no sign of moisture.
