HELP!!!!! Watermelon

Well, I was out weed wacking and I cut the last 4" off one of my watermelon plants. They are about 5' long. Will it continue to grow or is it going to "bush out"?

I was wondering the same thing. I got both melons and cukes and they arte growing more than I anticipated despite making good room for them. Most of the vines have grown up the trellises but they are also have vines wandering away. I don't want them taking over some areas and was thinking about clipping these stray vines.
