Buff Valenine beans

This is my first time growing beans. Apparently, Buff Valentine are bush beans? The plants themselves are very small, maybe only 1.5 feet tall, but are exploding with beans already. Couple questions...

1) Are they growing beans too early for their size, or will the plants continue to grow as they produce?

2) How long should these beans be when I pick them?
