Hot Pepper is Black where connects to main stem

I have one hot pepper plant that is black only where the stems connect to the main stem. Its only where they connect and the new ones growing are growing with these black spots. Am I able to post a picture? I don't know what I should do because it seems to be growing fine.

My peppers are doing this as well- I don't think it's actually doing any harm to the plant (but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong!)

If it's this kind of "spot", then it's fine. Many varieties do this. My bell peppers have it at every joint.

Uh oh, one of my jalapeno pepper plants is doing this, BUT it's all the way up the stem....there are tiny peppers, but I don't know if they will grow or not.

Look at the pepper plant on top (next to the tomato) - it has black going up the stems - you might have to really zoom in to see it. I can take a closer picture if you need me to.

What does this mean??? What should I do?

Read the above and the threads I linked to.

Normal. It means nothing. You should do nothing.
