My 2012 Garden

Lots of hard work but its paying off. Been gardening my whole life. Greenbeans are coming in heavy now. Have put up 7 quarts, 4 half gallon, and 12 pints so far. Want to put up 12 more pints and then I'll open the beans up to the family and friends, who ever want them. since these pics the corn is up and cucumbers are crawling all over. The composter is nearly full and them melon/pumpkin patch is coming up.

about 2 hours a day, EVERY day, sometimes more.
I see the weeds when they sprout, give them a few day to come up, name them, plot their location on a map and pull them up by by thier young tender tops to dry in the sun!!!!! HUHAHAHA(Creepy voice laughing)

Your persistence and utter hate for weeds have helped you create a beautiful garden. I tried putting down straw this year since I got overrun with weeds early in the season. Unfortunately I didnt realize it's NOT seed-free straw. Now the weeds are gone and I have nice shoots of "grass" coming through. Oh well...live and learn!
