Plant the bush beans in direct soil and water them in, they should do great for you & their easy to grow. I lived in Ft. Lauderdale 21 years, also lived in Hollywood on Taft St. Good luck on your bush beans, I had a bunch of bush bean plants this year and we had so many we had to start freezing them.

If you get to many cut them up first, boil them until tender, drain the water off & put them in a container and freeze them. That way you'll have some for the Winter months. Good Luck!
