I think I started Wrong: Soil Mix

I currently have a 4x8 raised bed with 1/3 Peat moss and 2/3 miracle grow. I have a feeling this is not ideal. How bad is this and how can I go about improving what I already have? I plan on doing foot gardening with tomatoes and other veggies. Completely removing the soil is not an option for me at this point for his season. Any help is much appreciated.

Not so bad. A bit heavy on peat, since the MG likely has peat in it too. Miracle Gro makes a lot of different products. Is yours topsoil or potting soil or ?? You could garden it as is or you could add some regular topsoil and compost and mix in. To lighten it up and give better drainage, since the peat is moisture holding, mix in some vermiculite.

Vermiculite is expensive here in Mass. I was originally going to go with Mel's mix. I will add some top soil and compost as suggested.
