Hi I'm wanting to grow some "greens" ie lettuce ect,
But I don't want to wait for 5 or 6 weeks I want my crop in days rather than weeks and definitly NOT in months!
Can any one recomend A ULTRA FAST GROWING green please that I can sow and harvest in a matter of days ?
I think cress grows in a few days, what other "greens" will grow FAST!!!!
What is the fastest know growing lettuce?

Otherwise what you are asking is fairly impossible. Some baby greens can be ready to eat in about a month under ideal conditions. Faster growing greens include arugula, Broccoli rabe, radishes, and turnip greens, mustard greens, mizuna, mesclun, chinese cabbage.
A month from seeds to to something you can start eating is really fast.
What's the rush...

I think the fastest turn around time is radishes. And you're looking at a good 3 weeks for those. Before that yooz gonna have to make a trip to the grocery store.
As stated, you better just start researching which weed in your yard are edible. Dandelions, lambs quarters, purslane, things like that that are already growing. And even those took weeks to grow. It's just that they're already available and you just didn't know it.
