Question about bean and pea seed.

In past years my bean and pea seeds were direct seeded and have done very welll. This year my pea seeds have rotted before they have sprouted twice now. The beans seem to be germinating ok but are kind of spotty. My corn is kind of the same way.

Anyone have any tips or a reason why this would be happening? The weather has not been terribly wet and we are past my last frost date.

It is the wet that makes the seed rot. Wait until the forecast is for a few days of dry warm weather then plant.
