Albino Onion?

I planted a bunch of onions to start indoors, but this one sprouted white, and is staying white...do you think it's safe to plant outside and eventually eat? I've never seen this before. Anyone know?

I'm just guessing here.
But I think the white bottom grew extra big and if you look in the pic in the middle of it. Is it really thin? It will just end up dying.

Safe? Yes! Will it amount to anything? I don't know. Give it some time.

I have never seen it before. Chlorophyl, the stuff that makes plants green, is necessary for the production of plant food in combination with sunshine. I don't know if this plant can make food without green. If not, it will die as soon as it has used up the food that was in the seed.
