Leaf mold mulch

So... Since we live on 7 acres & half of that is Heavily wooded... I have all the leaf litter I can haul to use for mulch. Is there anything I should be concerned about or issues this may cause?? Some of the areas I am raking from haven't seen a rake in a decade or more... And I am hauling all the worms (tons) that I find up to the garden too....
