Garlic question

Hiyas!

I usually plant my garlic bulbs in the fall, but for a variety of reasons I missed the boat this past year. I have some of my last bulbs in storage from last harvest begining to sprout, so I am going to plant them in a small side bed. My question is would they produce a small crop this year, or would it be better to just leave them to seed and collect the seeds for next year? I am not sure what species of garlic this is : I've been planting this same line for 7 or 8 years now. I think its a Roja type. I'm in zone 7, north Georgia.

I have planted garlic in the spring before, grew fine except the green growth above ground didn't get as big. I'm in zone 17.

Yes, contrary to common belief you can plant garlic both in the spring AND in the fall. So, I would say to plant your garlic now and if I read your post correctly harvest the garlic that you already have.
