bean seed inoculant

I just finished searching at every farmer's co-op, seed dealer, nursery, grain elevator in my County (along with Tractor Supply, Home Depot, Lowe's, and Menard's) for inoculant. Nobody carries it anymore which suggests that nobody uses it around here.

Has it been discovered that the stuff doesn't work or is unnecessary? I opened a new garden plot last season and had poor success with my green beans. I thought I would see if boosting the rhizobia bacteria in the soil would help this time.

My local nursery carries it cause they told me I needed it. If u have trouble getting it I could hook u up.

I've never tried it before, but I bought some for the 1st time this year. I'm going to plant one row without the inoculent to see if that row is any different from the others.
