First asparagus

Well I did me an asparagus bed last year, and it wasn't much fun not getting to try them last year, but hopefully it was well worth the wait. Over the last 2 mornings I have snapped off enough for a mess for wife and I tonight. So I now just hope they taste great!

I'm sure you will enjoy them, but if this is their second year, don't over pick them! Be sure you leave some stalks and quit picking early.
