Hi,

I would like to know what can I do...
I transplanted my vegetables last weekend and this week it is VERY windy (25mph) and VERY VERY hot and sunny(93-95f).
Tomatoes,sweet pepper,onion,cilantro,basil,and I have Marigold as well.
I water them every morning but by noon they are dried out,,I will start with mulch today but do I have to do anything else?Maybe fertlilize more than once a week?(I use 10-30-20).
I would appreciate any help in this matter..

Gini, fertilizing stressed plants that are dry and have been fertilized recently will only stress them more and you risk burning the roots with too much fertilizer.

Your garden soil looks sandy. I would recommend you topdress with compost and add mulch as well. The compost will help retain moisture and improve the texture of the soil.

You may need to water twice a day to include the leaves to help keep the moisture in the leaves.
