Do melons and Gords get blossom end rot?

A few of my water melons and some gords that have places on the bottom that look identical to blossom end rot on tomatoes. I had to put lime on my tomatoes several times to keep them from getting blossom end rot. I have not put lime on the melons yet. Do melons and gords get blossom end rot?

Yup, besides tomatoes and peppers, all the cucurbits (watermelon, cukes, squash, gourds, etc) are susceptible to blossom end rot.
