Pumpkin Problem

I'm hoping someone in the forum can help me. I have 3 pumpkin plants growing in one hill each had a pumpkin or 2 growing very well. All of a sudden about 5-6 days ago one plant started welting and looks like it is dead. See photo. I used dry cow manure mixed with straw and worked it into the ground about 2 weeks before planting. I water regularly when they need it. I hope you guys can save my other 2 plants. Thanks.

Don't think so. I cut open the vine at the root and up in various places, no worms. I did see some groups of tiny black specks under the leaves on the 2 good plants, I sprayed them with sevin.

Could a cat have used it for a lattrine? I had one die like that last year due to the neighbor's cat. That is also a possibility. A friend had one die because a crow was pulling at it, she said.

It could very well be a cat as there are some in the area. Thanks.

I found several of these little blue bugs on the leaves and what looks like eggs under the leaves. Anyone know what they are?

Those eggs look like squash bug eggs, squish and remove immediately.
