Habanero Peppers

Hi All,
Well my garden is doing great, my tomato plants are huge over 5 ft tall, and loaded, but we had some bad storms and high winds and I had to give them some extra support. While I was working on the tomato plants I broke off a small branch on one of my habanero plants, the branch has 7 peppers on it, I planted it 76 days ago, and the tag that came with the plant says it matures in 85 days. The good Lord has blessed me with another great garden, so I don't like to waste anything, so my question is will the peppers ripen off the vine like tomatoes? Or are those 7 peppers lost? I would taste one but I don't eat hot peppers, I do grow them for my family and friends that do eat them.
Thank You,
Paul

Yes, they will ripen on the counter, just like tomatoes. You can also eat them green, if you want. They won't be as hot, but that's actually a good thing with Habaneros

Yes, they will ripen off the vine. Put them in a brown paper bag for a few days. This will help them ripen quicker..
