what is happening to my squash?

hello all!

my first time having grown squash, the grey zucchini variety, the plant looks amazing. the issue is the fruits are getting to about 3-4 inches looking fine and not long after that they turn brown and just start rotting. as soon as I see this I obviously get rid of the fruit but I'm getting bummed out because every single one seems to be doing this.

is this a pollination issue? nutrient issue? any help would be appreciated.

thanks and happy farming!

Sounds like a pollination issue; the flowers open early morning and bees aren't always around to be able to check them out :x try getting up early and hand pollinating?

I agree with SPierce. Sounds like a polination issue. Like SPierce said. Get up in the early morning with a q-tip roll it inside the male flower to get the pollen on the tip and then roll the polinated q-tip in the female flower with the fruit..
