orgoveg,

This is a totally artificial stream, ponds and waterfall. It's also seasonal. When the winter rains stop, so does the system.

Lots of digging and directing of water. I was very happy when it all worked out.

After the waterfall it travels under the road and into our 1/2 acre pond.

Wow, Man. I think it's actually more impressive that you made it. I know that was alot of work. Very, very cool. Thanks for sharing.

OK, now that I look at the image again, it does look like Jal's!

DDF, your property is wonderful! Did you make the stream and waterfall in the off-season when there was no water (you must have)?

Sorry I've taken over the post.

Where is James? I'd like a conformation also. :)

G5,

The water coarse went through a few changes over the years. Originally there was no waterfall and half of my garden area was another pond. I filled in the pond and routed the stream up higher in the orchard. I was able to run the route high enough to go over the rocks. :D

I actual did some of the digging in the rain. Water seeks its own level, so I could dig and watch the flow. Move a little up hill, a little down. Later on I borrowed my brothers transit. :P

Eric

I'll have to dig out some old photos and scan them into my computer.
