Squash bugs and cucumber beetles
I have a garden plot in a community garden. This is our second year and I'm trying to avoid some of the problems we had last year. We had an awful problem with squash bugs, they pretty much destroyed the zucchini, and this year I have already found a cucumber beetle hanging around the tomatoes. I want to get some sevin powder on the plants right away before too much damage is done, but it won't stop raining for more than a day or so. Is there anything I can use on wet plants that will help?

I give a link to some info about the Sevin that you should read before you start spreading it around your garden.
I also listed out a bunch of organic methods of cucumber beetle control, all of which would apply to the squash bugs also.
