Broccoli sideshoots

How long will my broccoli continue to produce sideshoots?

Agree and in TX they may really be totally done at that point. Here in Ohio, if you don't mind the broccoli taking up garden room and not producing much, they will mostly idle through the heat of summer and then start producing more side shoots in the fall when it cools off.

But I have a small garden and it isn't worth it to me, so I pull mine too.

Good question. Here at 6000 ft elevation, they will continue to send out side shoots even after the first frost. I usually get sick of broccoli and let them flower for the bees. The broccoli is one of the last things blooming in the fall.
I think it will depend on the variety and the climate.

I get them right into frost also. They get pretty small after about 3 cuttings but good snacks as I clean up the garden & fill the compost bin.

Thanks for the answers! Guess now I need to decide to continue keeping them in the garden thru the summer or pull them up. My sideshoot production is small so should I keep them in or pull.........something for me to think about.
