The other day I noticed that a couple of my green bean plants were snapped in half, normally I would assume the dog did it but she's been chained up so I know she didn't, would a bunny have done this??

Also can you help ID some squash?? These were grown from seed that I collected last year, so they could either be a hibrid or zucchini and yellow squash and zucchini, or they could have been a zucchini that reverted back to something else. I have 2 different plants that are similar but different, one starts off growing long but then starts getting fat, the other starts off fatter but then starts growing longer, both get very big around very quickly.
Also before I try eating these, are all squash plants edible or is there any reason to be leary of something I don't recognize??

Can't say about the beans. Was it just broken off or eaten. I am thinking if the rabbit got after it, it would have been eaten. Birds sometimes bite off young plants.
About the squash, I think the first pic is a zuke. The others look like hybrids. They are all likely to be good eating when young. Pick them while the skin is still tender.

they aren't eaten, it looks like they could have been stepped on or maybe some bird decided to take the time to peck and tear at the same exact spot over and over again, they really aren't what I would consider young plants, they were just starting to climb, actually I had several that had been climbing up the string and something completely removed/ate off just the part of the plant that was climbing, didn't eat any other part.
thank you about the squash, I just wanted to know if they were safe to eat, I figured that it's fine since they are basically a combination of the 2 from last year, but I need to make sure before I feed it to my family.

I've decided that I'm going to replace those squash plants with something else, I ate some yesterday and didn't like the flavor. Is it possible that the squash crossed with pumpkin or spaghetti squash?? the squash had a slight pumpkin flavor to it and I hate pumpkin. It also looks like it might be possible that more than one plant could have pollinated the seeds that were in the same squash plants because even though I know the seeds all came from the same squash the plants and fruits all look drastically different
