Broken Pepper Plant :(

Hi all,

I am growing some tomatos and a pepper on my outdoor patio this summer. I was repotting them into bigger containers tonight, and the pepper top broke off.

I still have about 6 leaves/nodes that are not damaged - with what looks like little "chutes" (I'm a corn researcher...forgive me...) or buds coming out from behind them.

I called the greenhouse where I got them, and they said it should still regrow.

Thoughts?

Personally I would let it grow... as long as there are some leaves left on the plant it should regrow.

They will put out branches from the leaf axils.

Any ideas on how long I Can expect for recovery?

Anything I can do to help it along?

I never sing but I do hum. I also touch them and while I don't usually talk out loud to them, I do think good thoughts to them.
