cross pollinating beans

Will different types of pole beans, grown in close proximity, cross pollilnate?

Probably, but if they did it would not effect this years crop.
Seeds may be affected for next year.

I think beans are self fertile. They will likely come true unless you get some bee activity. The bees don't seem to have a great interest in beans, but I have seen them working bean flowers at times. If you are going for true to type seed, it may be risky.
