I have some strong plants!

So I went out to my garden today to shoo the puppy out of it again, and noticed that some of my plants survived her total mauling of a couple weeks ago. All my lettuce seeds are up, along with a fair amount of spinach, a couple swiss chard, 1 shallot, 1 strawberry plant, my blueberry bush and one sugar snap pea plant all survived! I'm so excited! There are a couple of broccoli that look to still be growing, and a couple mangled pea plants that still seem to have a strong root base even though the leaves/stems are a little chewed. Maybe I'll get lucky and get some plants this year! Now I'm definitely going to get some plants from my local Freddy's - they're having a sale on 4" vegetables 2/$3.00!

I had a rock the size of a sub sandwich land on one of my garlic plants.
I was sure it was a goner, the thing was flattened.

But two days later, I can't even tell which one was hit.

Amazing stuff garlic...
