$2.00 Garden ($0.20 seeds...) UPDATE

For all who's growing something from those $0.20 seeds, please chime in how well are we doing!

Going back to the original thread, I planted peppers, tomatoes and radishes up to this point. There is one raised bed dedicated specifically to this $2.00 garden (2'x8'):

There are 7 peppers (Jalapeno, Hungarian Wax and Calwonder), 2 tomato plants (Beefsteak and Delicious) so far, planting seeds for basil and cilantro tomorrow...

All has been transplanted last Sat... Hungarian Wax already set it's first fruit:

Same seed packets, radishes are doing very well in 2x3 spaces. Soon to be all picked, and ready for "later planting" of more tomatoes

That's if from me for now, look forward to hear how well your $0.20 plants are doing!

Last year when all my seeds were started I found some 20 seeds.
20 cents printed on the seed pack.
These were not just marked down prices.
All I needed at the time were radishes.
I bought 20 packs and planted a few packs every week.
Had radishes all summer.

Indeed, those radishes are the most sown from their pack in the past 3 years, well worth the money!

I have radishes coming up like mad as well.

But in my front garden (flower garden) where I took some of the "salad mix" seed and gave them a toss. OH MY! I have been thinning that out for over a month They are grwoing like crazy I will have good lettuce from there. I still have a forest of lettuce out there from one packet I still need to thin it down another 900%. Pics to follow maybe I'm going to jump in the tub right now.

It's cold out here.

decided to grow a lot of my market seedlings from these 20 cent packets... germination has been very sporadic and in I am still giving them some time to determine percentage. Some of the seeds did very well such as cukes and peppers... Melons and squash are the trouble children at the moment.

I think we must be infested with Radishes, as I am having the same issues, they have started to spring up in places where I'm convinced I haven't planted them, I guess it could be the fairies playing tricks one me again
