Garlic Question

I bough a bag of garlic plants over the weekend. I didn't know until I started reading up on it that it should be planted in fall. Will these keep until fall, and where should I store them?

TIA :)

I guess in a place with fall temperature. I don't know much about the seasons thing. Because we don't have seasons where I live. (Curacao).

well, they are in a bag, so bulbs?

My raised beds will hopefully be built this week. depends on the rain and my husband's work schedule (farmer, so there is no "schedule" LOL)

I can put them in as soon as he gets them ready. . .

I have some bulbs left in the refrigerator from last summer. They look as fresh as the day I put them in there. I keep thinking I should chuck them, but I'm holding on to them. (I don't use a lot of garlic.)
