ok I am getting white spots on the leaves of all my veggies that I had planted in the ground, the ones that are in the flats or cells are still just fine. we recently had a big storm and it had gotten really cold but I don't think it froze, could that have caused the white spots?? I'll have to get some pics of it a little later. It's on many different kinds of plants but especially on my newly growing spinach. I really hope that there isn't some disease that is going around that many different kinds of plants are getting at once.
here are some pictures of the plants (alot of these have some dirt on the plants because it rained last night)

Also I am getting this brown on my basil, I purchased the plant at the store and there was no brown on it when I bought it, I guess I need to toss it now, I just hate throwing it away, it cost me $5, I could always take it back but it would cost me more in gas right now.

I have this seedling that looks like it's getting the same thing, it's a good 20' away from the other but still looks like it got it, though when I scrape it, it kind of moves the brown stuff around, though to hard to get it off, could it be something different?? how can I prevent this??

The brown on the basil and the brown on the little seedling look like different things. The basil plant looks diseased and may be a goner. Is it possible the brown on the little seedling is just some of the soil mix? Sometimes if the plant is wet, the soil mix can cling and be difficult to get off.
Does the white stuff have a little bit of powdery look to it like this:

that would be powdery mildew. Type that into the Search the Forum keyword box to find lots written here about what to do about it.
