Kiwano/horned melon

ive had this once before... does anyone know what zones they do well in? I am in zone 6 (northern new jersey) and was wondering if it is worth a shot growing these... Thanks

Those things look scary. How do they taste? I'm in the Philadelphia area so I think we're in the same zone.

hey, I'm not sure if were same zone. I'm zone 6 not sure either A or B.. I'm the northern most point in NJ actually hah. but kiwanos are delicous.. I tried one when I was in germany.. cut it open and it kinda reminds me of a passion fruit.. jelly like "cucumber seeds" tastes like a sweetish cucumber taste.



ps- I'm thinking about moving to philly after this upcoming season... I need a job there! help me out haha
