Kiwano/horned melon

ive had this once before... does anyone know what zones they do well in? I am in zone 6 (northern new jersey) and was wondering if it is worth a shot growing these... Thanks

Those things look scary. How do they taste? I'm in the Philadelphia area so I think we're in the same zone.

hey, im not sure if were same zone. im zone 6 not sure either A or B.. im the northern most point in NJ actually hah. but kiwanos are delicous.. i tried one when i was in germany.. cut it open and it kinda reminds me of a passion fruit.. jelly like "cucumber seeds" tastes like a sweetish cucumber taste.



ps- im thinking about moving to philly after this upcoming season... i need a job there! help me out haha
