When to start what

I know this question is kinda of (no it is deffinatley ) Broad

I am curious when I should start my indoor starts for the garden. I relize it is only mid january but I figure the time is coming to start real soon.

and I just want to make sure I am starting the right plants at the right time

This should help you out. If you checkout the left side of the page, you will be able to see a list of a variety of crops to choose from.

As far as starting inside, just back-up about 6-8 weeks for the planting dates of crops such as tomatoes, eggplants, peppers, cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli, etc.

When are you usually frost free?
Six to eight weeks prior to that date is just right for tomatoes. Peppers take a bit longer.

Take a look a this page about halfway down. Type in your average last frost date. Hope this helps.
