I got my last harvest on Sat Nov 6th and then took apart the garden then I ran over the plants with the tractor and Bushhog mower. I will till it up and plant clover soon.
Last of the peppers, beats, corn, cabbage, leaks and parsly.

Must be a sad day for a gardener. I consider myself blessed to have such good fall/winter weather to be able to continue gardening all year round. I get antsy when one of my rows are vacant between crops.
Monday this past week I pulled all my soybean plants (about 75 in all) and turned the soil to plant seeds for purple muzuna, beets and a bit of bunching green onions but it rained for the next 2 days. I couldn't wait till I could work the soil to plant the seeds and did so by Friday. I can't imagine how I'd feel if I had to wait months to plant again.
That's a lot of bell peppers to cut and freeze for later use. Do you pickle the others or make relish out of them?
