Quick Pumpkin Question

My pumpkin vines look like there dead should I leave the pumpkins on the vine or should I take them off? they look like they just need to to ripen and finish turing orange. thanks

They should be cut off the vine when the closest curling tendril turns brown. When the vines are dead they should definitely be cut. Leave them in the sun to age for a few weeks after they are cut or age them in the house. Don't let them freeze.

You may as well take them off the vine. Leave the stems on the pumpkins. The scar tends to get moldy sometimes if the stem is removed. Next year consider planting a bit earlier.

Thanks I was kind of considering planting earlier, I guess you learn as you go. thanks for the help
